I have recently completed work on another patio. This one is a smaller than the others (about 100 sq. ft.) but presented its own challenges. I needed to build a new frame and compact the entire area. The addition of the rocks and a a small birdbath on the east end was a means to use existing material from the property in a more functional manner. The first two images show how it started with just a few original pavers removed; the latter two show the completed project.
The wedding in Denver went quite well – although I do not do well in downtown Denver traffic. My next music project is with the Durango Piano Academy on Thursday and Friday of this week. A violinist and I are working with young students on piano trios.
The patio continues and should be complete sometime next week. It-s looking good so far.
Actually, two updates after all this time: I am in the process of building my largest patio yet – 39 x 14 ft – all large, heavy pavers. Also performing my first wedding solo gig in Denver this weekend.
Hi everyone! As you can see, I now have a website, thanks to my super awesome sister-in-law, Jill. This is a place where you can catch up on my music and check out my latest handyman projects. If you need a cellist or string quartet for your event, give me a call. If you need some help around your home or yard, I’m available for that as well. I’m also a great cook, my specialties are homemade mustards, baked goods, and grilled meats. If you’re planning a dinner party and want some help, get in touch.
